Migraines 101

If you have migraines, or think you may be getting a migraine, you are not alone. About 11% of the population experiences migraines on a regular basis. Symptoms of migraines first appear in a broad range of ages, but they usually occur from the ages of 10 to 46 years old. Women tend to have these headaches more regularly then men, but studies show that pregnancy reduces the frequency of migraines in women. The average migraine lasts 6-48 hours.
